Suitable for open-fronted nesting birds
Simply remove the front panel by unscrewing two screws to transform the box into an open-fronted type suitable for birds such as robins, wrens, pied wagtails and spotted flycatchers.

This handmade bird box is incredibly solid, built from 21mm thick wood, unlike most of the thinner, less durable boxes on the market. Importantly, it also carries the FSC label, ensuring the timber only comes from responsible sources. Not only that, but all of the boxes are handmade in the UK.

The interior of the box has been designed to be as spacious as possible, leaving room for the installation of your camera. There is a small mounting hole in the back of the box, perfectly sized to fit the camera's bracket. Slots run underneath either side of the roof to add ventilation for the birds, and also providing a neat way to route power and video cables out of the box. The kit includes a set of mounting plates and screws for mounting the box to a tree, fence or wall.

The size of the entrance size hole is 32mm, which is perfect for small garden birds such as Great Tits, Coal Tits, Blue Tits and Wood Sparrows. You can also use one of our metal plates to make the hole smaller (to 25mm or 28mm) to restrict the type of bird using the box. You can also remove the panel on the front to transform it into an open-fronted box suitable for birds such as robins.
