Do I need this if I have a Solar Powered Bird Box Camera?

We would very much say yes unless you plan on charging the camera using the mains power on a regular basis.

How do I install the inserts in my Bird Box?

Using a 50mm drill bit (found here) then simply drilling how you normally would with anything else. We'll do also have a pack that contains both the parts (drill bit + inserts) or if you would just prefer your bird box ready made you can also find our Solar Ready Bird Boxes here
