Don't give up. It's worth the effort.

My initial problem was getting my Android phone to read QR codes. These codes need to be read more than once during the setup of the app and camera. My phone couldn't do that and the QR code apps I tried installing didn't work. Nor would the Green Feathers camera read the required QR code. I gave up for the day and left it until next morning. Lo and behold, a fresh installation of the app on the phone, and a QR reader app, which could actually read QR codes, and working my way through the instructions, produced the welcome phrase "connect to internet", which seems to mean that the camera is connected via wifi to the internet. A very clear picture appeared on the phone when I opened the app and selected 'IPC'. I'm now in the process of building a new, and better, nest box for the new season. Those blue tit early birds won't catch me out again next season

Aliasing improvement would be welcomed

The great thing about these cameras is the reliability of pictures over wifi at distance. It may sometimes take, as it did with my set up, a wifi repeater and/or ensuring that your router has a dedicated 2.4 Ghz channel. But once established, these cams will reliably transmit at a typical garden distance despite double glazing and trees being in the line of path. As an example, I have a birdbox set up that is 50 feett behind a tree from the line of sight, through double glazed doors, yet no trouble in connecting and in getting motion detection. For that reason they are to be recommended, and I am really pleased with them. An area for improvement is the resolution, as aliasing can be quite severe. I do think at this price point it could be better. But really pleased with the transmitting capabilities, and which is why I have three of them.
